A blissful 2 hour Yoga Nidra & Meditation workshop Yoga Nidra is a potent technique for rejuvenation, healing and self-discovery, and possibly the best part, is that it’s down from a lying down position.


In this workshop you’ll experience the complete 30 minute practice of Yoga Nidra. You’ll also learn the fascinating theory underpinning each aspect of the practice with a particular focus the stage of ‘sankalpa’.


‘Sankalpa’ is a Sanskrit word that can be translated as a positive affirmation or a resolve. When used in Yoga Nidra, the sankalpa is a powerful tool for achieving goals, changing habits and directing your life along positive lines.


The workshop will include:

  • Gentle stretching and movement
  • Breathwork
  • Yoga Nidra
  • Meditation
  • Discussion and theory


You will learn or understand:

  • The purpose of each stage of Yoga Nidra
  • The specific sequencing of Yoga Nidra stages
  • How to structure your goal (sankalpa) into a sentence that is easy for the subconscious mind to receive
  • How to use your sankalpa in daily life
  • Why Yoga Nidra is the doorway to deep meditation


While the full moon is regarded as a time of extroversion, a time to take action and celebrate the fruits of one’s efforts, the new moon is regarded as a time for introspection. A time to take stock, reflect and realign yourself with your goals and your vision.
